A Preview of Podcasts
A couple of the first podcasts we are posting here include three books by written and published by prolific LDS author Dr. Randall Chase. Over the years, his “Making Precious Things Plain” series has garnered praise from all quarters as he has written and then published study guides for all the Standard Works to make the scriptures “plain and easy” to understand. In our first podcast here on Latter Day Radio, he tells about three smaller books on very timely issues we are facing now: the Apocalypse, Zion and Isaiah, which all address topics to do with the End Times. And author Bruce Van Orden explains why prolific LDS songwriter and printer, WW Phelps, was misunderstood and under appreciated. He sets things straight in his well researched biography of this early Mormon pioneer. And coming up next is Michelle Schmidt, mother Annie and wide of Jon Schmidt of Piano Guy fame; she tells of the tragedy of the loss of their daughter in a hiking accident and the tender mercy she experienced on the way to the scene.
